DISCOVER KLUANE
ONE OF THE LAST FRONTIERS
Whether you like activity, intensive or not, or you prefer listening to the birds, Kluane Country will know
how to fulfill your desires.
With a 22.000 square km natural park where you can find the highest peaks in Canada, glaciers and valleys recalling the Alps,
hikers and climbers will find what they're looking for. The thrill of
rafting and mountain biking will seduce the ones who like adventure. For the ones who
prefer to watch flowers or wildlife, trails inside the park will provide thousands of opportunities to reach.
Maybe you will jump in a helicopter for a flight over the country, or even experience heli-hiking, if you want to be
dropped on the boundary of the park and walk down to the lake ? A unique way to observe animals. Flightseeing in a
plane can also bring you other feelings and other landscapes.
Fishing is not the rarest activity in Kluane with a 306 square km lake
where you can expect to catch lake and rainbow trout, arctic grayling, northern pike, dolly varden and sockeye salmon.
Kluane country can also be seen from a horse back or from a dogsled (even in summertime).
But, if you just want to have some rest, that's the right place. Enjoy quietness and silence wrapping you, come inside you and change
you forever.
Kluane Base Camp will be your starting point for everything.
Definitely, Kluane is a magic place where dreams become true. A paradise you can visit alive. What are you waiting for ?
