WELCOME TO KLUANE BASE CAMP |

Mount Logan ...19550'...5959m...Highest peak in Canada... second highest peak in North America...an endless icefield surrounding this huge mountain... a climate so special it makes this summit unique for climbing... Did you dream of it?...It's here, in the palm of your hand! But before starting to climb, you need a place to prepare your expedition in the best conditions, waiting for the day of your flight up to the icefield. This is our goal : thanks to several kinds of accommodations we can provide depending upon your budget, to modern and fitting buildings, to an favourable environment to health and mental preparation, to a quality hosting, you'll feel quickly like home.
Regarding accommodations, you may use the cabins if you wish. Nevertheless, we know that climbers like rough conditions, and only the expedition matters, everything else is just details! And because climbers budgets are mainly for climbing, we understand that you may not afford high rates. That's why we provide 2 "rougher" accommodations: campground and hostel. You'll find every information at the "Accommodation" page. Of course, you'll have a total use of the main building, including hot showers, toilets and kitchen. A gazebo is also available as a dry place to store your gear.
We can cook a meal too, ready for your return. Small gear may also be available (sleds, flags...) depending upon the time.
Warning: Don't forget that Mount Logan is located inside the Kluane National Park, and because of this, you'll need a permit to climb. You'll get all informations at warden office.
